WebMenu Version 5.1
WebMenu™
Available for ASP.NET, ASP, JSP and stand-alone Studio, WebMenu enables you to create DHTML hierarchical menus of unprecedented versatility and function.
Cross-Browser Support
Automatically detects and renders a tailored DHTML menu for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera and other browsers running on Windows, Mac and Linux.
DHTML Features
At the client, the run-time DHTML has many features and abilities. These are some of them:
XHTML and HTML Compatibility - Can function within pages that are designed for either XHTML 1 or HTML 4.
Keyboard Access - Arrow key navigation on many modern browsers. Satisfies §1194.21(a) of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
MenuBar Object - Static or floating vertical and horizontal layouts, dragging and docking behaviors.
Multiple MenuBar Modes - Support for making the built-in MenuBar look and act like a ToolBar or TabStrip control.
Customized Popup Integration - In lieu of using the MenuBar object, client-side functions allow the developer to create their own menu buttons and control how and where the menu will appear.
Client-side Events - In addition to navigating to a URL, you can invoke custom JavaScript functions at the browser when the user clicks on an Item or MenuBar button.
Intelligent Window Positioning - Popup menus will detect the edges of the browser window and reposition accordingly so that the menu remains visible always.
Scrollable Menus - When the size of a menu exceeds the available space, scroll buttons can be provided that allow the user to adjust the viewable portion of the menu.
Cover IE Select Boxes - The MenuBar and popup menus can overlay IE windowed objects (select boxes, IFrames, Flash, etc.) without the need for hiding them when the menu is shown.
Highly Customizable Look - Colors, sizes, borders, images and fonts can all be customized to visually integrate with any project.
