We are pleased to announce the availability of PortRemoter v4.5 for all supported platforms.

PortRemoter is a software-based TCP/IP port forwarder and network monitoring service. The software accepts connections on a particular TCP port, and establishes connections to a different TCP port to fulfill requests. Administrative web interface allows the monitoring of connection and data transfer statistics.

Some of the new PortRemoter 4.5 features include:

• Added certificate store allowing multiple server certificates to be stored and managed through the PortRemoter Administrator.
• Added the ability to apply server certificates to the port forwarders and virtual hosts allowing them to handle HTTPS communications.
• Updated all dependent C/C++ libraries to the latest versions and added a lookup table in the PortRemoter Administrator to report their usage.
• Added the collapsable information panes to the main PortRemoter Administrator web pages.
